Bethesda announces Fallout 4 DLC release date

15 March 2016

Bethesda have released an official trailer along with a release date for Fallout 4’s Automatron DLC.

The Automatron DLC brings advanced robots and conflict to the world of Fallout by adding new crafting options and new enemies for the player to defeat.

The DLC focuses on combining Fallout 4’s crafting system and the variety of robots in the wasteland, allowing players to build and modify automatons using many different parts they find around the world.

Automatron features a new story line focussed on a dangerous tinkerer titled the Mechanist, who terrorises the wasteland with hordes of modified automatons.

To defeat this new threat, players will need to create unique robots of their own, changing everything from paint color to vocal tone and choosing from a wide selection of weapons and utility parts.

The downloadable content pack is priced at $9.99.

Automatron is the first title in the series of DLC planned for Fallout 4 and will be released on 22 March 2016.
