The Telkom DGL Masters Series kicked off on 18 March at rAge Cape Town, featuring 8 of the best Counter-Strike: Global Offensive teams in South Africa competing for a prize pool of R100,000.
5 matches were played in the first two days of the knockout tournament, with the winner of each match proceeding to the next stage. Matches are played in a best-of-3 format.

- Damage Control

Here are the tournament standings and the results of the first 2 days:
The first day of the tournament saw strong performances from Bravado Gaming and carboN eSports as both teams scored decisive victories. Veneration E-Sports and Flipsid3 Tactics proved unable to overcome the building momentum of their opponents and were eliminated from the series at the end of the first day.
The second day presented some exciting matches which were tighter than those on day 1, with one game resulting in overtime. Aperture Gaming beat [email protected] relatively comfortably, securing their place in the semi-finals with a 2-0 result.
White Rabbit Gaming were eliminated after playing against Damage Control and losing a decisive game by the narrowest of margins, while Bravado claimed a 2-0 victory over carboN eSports after the second game went into overtime.
The DGL Masters Series delivers some high-quality competitive Counter-Strike, with all 8 teams performing at an exceptional level of play.
The third day of the tournament will feature the semi-final match between Aperture Gaming and Damage Control, with the winner playing against Bravado Gaming, who have already secured their spot in the final.
