There have been some pretty amazing superhero games released in recent memory, but with Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice hitting cinemas this week, we really wish there was a decent game based on the Man of Steel.
Well, there was… kinda, but it was cancelled before even making it to consoles.
Developer Factor 5 (best remembered for its excellent Star Wars: Rogue Squadron) was also once working on a Superman game.
This game would marry the studio’s expertise in aerial controls with the DC universe and the iconic hero’s many comic book foes.
The game was scheduled to release on Xbox 360, PS3, and Wii, but Factor 5 closed down before the game got close enough to launch.
