Fallout 4’s Far Harbor DLC is set to release in May 2016.
Bethesda plans to release various different add-ons for Fallout 4 throughout the year, including the Automatron DLC – which is currently available on Steam.
Pete Hines from Bethesda confirmed on Twitter that Far Harbor will be bigger than the Shivering Isles DLC for The Elder Scrolls: Oblivion, which is one of the biggest expansions that the company ever released.
“Far Harbor features the largest landmass for an add-on that we’ve ever created, filled with new faction quests, settlements, lethal creatures and dungeons,” said Bethesda.
The DLC introduces a new island area situated off the coast of Maine, which will feature a vast, populated area to explore.
Far Harbor will cost $25 on release, and will follow the launch of the Wasteland Workshop DLC in April, which features new mechanics that allow players to capture or tame animals roaming the wasteland.
Fallout 4 is receiving a large amount of new content in 2016, as Bethesda’s DLCs launch throughout the year and the new Survival Mode enters beta on Steam.
