One video game hero that has fallen into the abyss in recent years is that of Turok, the original dinosaur hunter.
The last release in the franchise, 2008’s simple titled reboot Turok, had some decent moments but left quite a bit to be desired.
So it was inevitable that fans would long for the nostalgia of 1997’s original Turok and Turok 2: Seeds of Evil.
Well, now you can take your rose tinted glasses off and see the prehistoric polygonal adventures for yourself because the original games are being remastered.
Night Dive Studios, which specialises in bringing back seemingly forgotten video games, revealed plans to bring Turok and Turok 2 to Xbox One.

The studio brought the original game to Steam late last year and is currently evaluating the games’ release on other platforms.
Regarding the release of Turok 2, which is not yet available in remastered form, the studio does not have any release windows to offer.
@NightDiveStudio When can we expect new info on the Turok 2 remaster?
