Rocket League meets basketball – coming soon

30 March 2016

Rocket League developer Psyonix has announced the launch date for the game’s new basketball-inspired game mode.

Psyonix has recently been teasing Rocket League’s newest content release on social media, and has now confirmed that the new basketball-themed gameplay will be implemented into the game next month.

The game mode is called Dunk House, and will feature large hoops at either end of the playing field instead of the usual football-styled goals.

The replacement of football goals with basketball hoops will force players to employ a more aerial strategy in order to score, as oppose to the relatively grounded gameplay of the regular mode.

The developer announced via Twitter that the new game mode will arrive sometime in April 2016.
