In the run up to the Spike TV Video Game Awards (VGA) there has been much speculation on which new titles will be officially revealed at the event. Whilst the awards themselves often suffer the brunt of much derision, at least the announcements of new games is something to get excited about.

Over the last few weeks, some zombie-esque infected pictures have been cropping up, sparking rumours on all sorts of announcements related to popular zombie smiting franchises. Now the images have been traced to the Activision website, MurderYourMaker.

The website name is clearly a reference to Alex Mercer’s origins as a military biological weapon gone rogue. The site has been updated with a very short teaser clip which shows footage from the previous game. Obviously, no more information about Prototype 2 has yet come to light, as we will likely have to wait for the big reveal.
