The option to upgrade to Microsoft’s Windows 10 expires soon.

Microsoft announced that its free Windows 10 upgrade offer will end on 29 July, and has urged users to upgrade before this date.

The Windows 10 Upgrade Offer is valid for qualified and genuine Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 devices, including devices you already own.

Upon this expiry date, users will have the option to purchase one of the Windows 10 options, including Windows 10 Home for R1,399 or Windows 10 Pro for R2,299.

Windows 10 already boasts an impressive 300 million active devices, but expect that number to skyrocket as the cut-off date looms closer.
