After officially dominating 2010 with over 50 million downloads on iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad, the Nokia N900, and a bunch of other mobile platforms, Rovio’s Angry Birds is prepping for its big squawk on PSN and PSP.
The title will launch later this week, by way of the PlayStation minis service.
If you’ve never played it, Angry Birds is a kind of physics-based puzzle game that mostly involves catapulting birds (angry birds, mind you) at pigs (evil pigs).
It’s heavenly retribution on a grand scale, scaling the dizzy philosophical crags of natural order, and our place in it. And birds. And pigs. And panes of glass.
Angry Birds features many hours of gameplay, challenging physics-based castle demolition, and lots of replay value with 63 levels.
The Finnish developer had previously announced it intends to bring the game to multiple platforms this year, also including Windows, Mac, Xbox 360, Wii, and DS.
