Microsoft is now banning your stupid passwords

Microsoft has started banning passwords it deems are “too easy-to-guess”.

After over 117 Million leaked Linked In credentials appeared online, Microsoft has started to “dynamically ban” users who’s passwords appear on the most-used list.

This password list is dynamically being added to with over 1o million Microsoft accounts being attacked daily.

This change will apply to all Microsoft and Azure services (including Xbox , Outlook and OneDrive accounts) over the coming months.

Below is an example of the error message you will receive if Microsoft deems your password too simple:
