Massive Xbox One price cuts coming to South Africa

Local distributor Prima Interactive has announced that the Xbox One will receive a four-day price drop in South Africa, with gamers able to save up to R1,500 on a new console.

The discounted prices will be available from “all leading South African retailers and e-tailers” during 16 – 19 June 2016.

The Xbox One 500GB console with a game will retail for a recommended price of R4,999. The Xbox One 1TB console with a game will sell for a recommended price of R5,499, said the company.

The deal excludes 500GB refurbished consoles, while the Xbox One Elite carries a R1,500 discount off the marked retail price.
