Telkom’s Openserve reduced the price of its IP Connect (IPC) service on 1 June, and the savings from these wholesale price cuts have started to filter down to consumers.
RSAWEB was the first to react, offering up to 110% more data to new and existing ADSL and VDSL customers.
With its new capped ADSL packages, RSAWEB’s pricing dipped below R2 per GB for accounts of 100GB and higher.
Cybersmart is following suit, with big ADSL and VDSL price cuts expected from the service provider soon.
“We are going to give our existing customers an opportunity where they can get even more value than new customers,” said Cybersmart CEO Laurie Fialkov.
Axxess confirmed its clients will see ADSL price cuts on some of its products. The company has not released details about these price cuts yet.
