This is how many people plan to upgrade to the new iPhone

23 July 2016

With the new iPhone expected to be announced in September this year, analysts are split on whether people will actually buy the new smartphone.

A recent survey by Quartz has now revealed how many people actually plan to make the jump later this year.

63.2% of respondents said they’d be at least “somewhat interested” in getting a “new iPhone redesign,” but only 20.7% said they’d be just as likely or more eager to buy a new iPhone this year if the design doesn’t really change.

Less than 10% were either “very likely” or “extremely likely” to upgrade.

You can check out the full results of the survey here.
