Ever had a favourite show taken off the air?
It’s not a particularly great feeling, especially knowing a show deserved to go on for a much longer run.
We’re not the only ones either, Priceonomics has created a list of the best TV shows on IMDB that had been cancelled early.
Using these data, they identified about 500 shows that met the following criteria:
- The show was cancelled after three seasons or fewer
- The last episode aired no later than 2013
- The show aired in prime time
- The show was originally on an American network
