The 10 most popular questions South Africans asked Google this week

Every week Google publishes the 10 most popular questions searched in South Africa.

This week American politics were at the forefront of South African minds, as well as the death of Jacob Zuma rape accuser Fezekile ‘Khwezi’ Kuzwayo.

Outgoing public protector Thuli Madonsela garnered national attention this week in trending search terms – ‘Thuli Madonsela’ trended on Thursday with over 10,000 searches.

‘Morelata Park Shooting’ and ‘Hostage drama in Pretoria’ trended on Wednesday with over 10,000 and 5,000 searches respectively.

‘Pravin Gordhan’ trended Tuesday with over 20,000 searches as well as ‘Rand Dollar’ with over 10,000 searches, and Monday saw ‘Presidential Debate’ trending with over 10,000 searches.
