The first season of Westworld came to a conclusion last night seemingly raising more questions thatn answers.
Much like Game of Thrones, the first question on everyone’s minds is “when is it coming back”?
While a 10-episode second season has been confirmed, there is currently no word on when the show will be airing again, reports Entertainment Weekly.
Casey Bloys, HBO programming president, told EW that Westworld might not return until 2018.
“My suspicion is sometime in 2018 because of how big the world is and what goes into shooting it” said Bloys.
“So I don’t have a date exactly – they’re going to have to map it out and write the scripts – but my guess is sometime in ‘18.”

I certainly hope its a lot sooner than that, otherwise they will lose their audience. While I have enjoyed it so far, I can guarantee that come 2018 I would have moved on and wouldn’t bother to try get back into it.
