Sir Anthony Hopkins to star in next Transformers movie

Sir Anthony Hopkins will star alongside Mark Wahlberg in Michael Bay’s upcoming Transformers: The Last Knight.

Not much has been revealed about Hopkin’s role in the movie, but he is expected to be the lead in one of the movie’s alternate timelines.

The Last Knight is set to be  a “deep dive” into the mythology of Transformers, reports i09.

“It’ll feature two storylines from two different timelines through the robot mythology running concurrently and converging at the end. They’ll explore how and why the Transformers split into factions, and have a historical context on Earth as well. Basically, things are just bigger than ever.”
