Will Ferrell will star as a professional eSports player in as yet untitled Legendary Studios comedy, reports Variety.
While the film is still in early production. it is heavily hinted that Ferrell will star as the leader of a fictional eSports team.
“In the film he plays an anomaly in a sport where players usually retire in their 20s due to slowing hand-eye coordination.
MGOs Evil Geniuses and Fnatic are already in discussion to have a presence in the film”.
Ferrell is currently in the process of wrapping up current film “Homes and Watson” in which he stars alongside John C. Reilly.
