The 10 most popular questions South Africans asked Google this week

Google South Africa has revealed the top trending searches for the week, which include “How to trade forex”, “How to cook spaghetti”, and “What to do in Durban”.

Cooking was popular this week, with four questions in the top 10 related to food.

The trending information is based on what South Africans have been searching for and asking Google over the past week.

Google processes more than 40,000 search queries worldwide every second. This translates to more than a billion searches per day and 1.2 trillion searches per year.

The top trending questions on Google SA this past week were:

  1. How to trade forex
  2. How to cook spaghetti
  3. What to do in Durban
  4. Who invented Google?
  5. How to change your signature on Outlook
  6. What is public management?
  7. What is geography?
  8. How long to boil an egg
  9. How to make cookies
  10. How to make cottage pie
