Netflix has announced its first acquisition – Millarworld. Millarworld is the comic book publishing house founded by Mark Millar, creator of Kick-Ass, Kingsman, and Old Man Logan.

The two companies will bring Millarworld’s franchises to life through films, series, and kids’ shows, available on Netflix.

Millarworld will also continue to create and publish new stories and franchises under the Netflix label.

According to a statement from Millar, however, the Netflix deal does not include the Kingsman or Kick-Ass properties.

Millar is an alumnus of Marvel, where he developed comic books and story arcs that inspired the first Avengers movie, Captain America: Civil War, and Logan.

Since Millarworld was started, the company has published 18 character worlds, of which three – Wanted, Kick-Ass, and Kingsman – have yielded theatrical films that have grossed nearly $1 billion in global box office sales.

Netflix, rather concentrate on releasing better SA content monthly. We get cheap crap weekly compared to the US Library.
