Showmax has launched an app for the PlayStation 4.
“By adding the app for the PS4, we’re aiming to broaden the appeal of Showmax and get even more people using our service,” said Showmax.
The Showmax app supports bandwidth capping, allowing subscribers to limit the amount of data used to watch shows and movies.
This works by reducing video quality, meaning less data is consumed.
A Showmax subscription is R99 per month and allows for viewing on two devices simultaneously.
The Showmax PlayStation 4 app is currently only available in South Africa.
