Techland, the publisher and developer of Dying Light 2, has revealed details about the game’s first free DLC pack.
The DLC is called the Authority Pack and will contain new items themed after the game’s Peacekeeper faction. This DLC will be released in three instalments, with the first already available to players on all platforms
The first of these instalments are already available to players on all platforms. Those who claim it will gain access to the Intimidating Jacket, Intimidating Cargo Pants, and Intimidating High-tops equipment.
The remaining two instalments will then add various other pieces of apparel and the Authority hammer weapon.
Dying Light 2 features fast, action-packed combat with various enemies and weapon options.
The item sets aren’t just cosmetic either, as the developer has revealed that each item gives 4% damage resistance while fighting human opponents and the set as whole grants an additional bonus of 6% resistance.
This free DLC pack is merely the beginning of a promised 5+ years of post-launch support.
After the Authority Pack is fully released, it will be followed by the Ronin Pack DLC, the contents of which have not yet been revealed.
