Microsoft announced on Monday that it has released a performance update for Xbox Cloud Gaming for iPhone and iPad.
This update was requested by Apple users who wanted an enhanced gameplay experience equal to that of Android devices.
The improvements included optimized video input and network data transmission, which should reduce overall latency while playing on the service.
“At Xbox Cloud Gaming, we listen to and value player feedback,” said Xbox product managers Nicole Hilbert and Akshar Pandia in the latest Xbox blog post, and “With these updates, you should have a smoother and more responsive gameplay experience.”
The Xbox Cloud Gaming service has seen a 35% increase in play times on Apple devices since it implemented this update.
