Game developer and Twitter user @VolodXYZ made a short video to showcase what a Superman game could look like in Unreal Engine 5.
Using a sample city and character model, they were able to demonstrate how superman would move around the world at high speeds and navigate through tight corners.

Superman has made an appearance in the Injustice games and will also feature as a villain in the upcoming Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League game, but he hasn’t had his own game since Superman Returns in 2006.
This is despite other superheroes like Batman and Spider-Man receiving their own video games – which proves that great superhero games are possible.
However, Unreal Engine 5 may be the spark that ignites a future Superman game – if Warner Bros can find a developer willing to take on the challenge.
