Disney released a trailer for the second season of The Bad Batch during the weekend’s Star Wars celebration.
The second season is set to release in the second half of 2022, and while it may not be as high profile as the Mandalorian or Kenobi, fans are still excited to see what the new season has to offer.
The first season followed the exploits of a rogue group of clone troopers in the aftermath of Order 66 and the reorganisation of the Republic into the first galactic empire.
In the first season, the Bad Batch left the Empire to pursue their adventures on the edges of the Star Wars canon and the second season is set to continue this adventure.
In the trailer, we see that the situation for the rogue clone troopers is growing increasingly tenuous and are shown scenes of space battles, racing, battle, a Jedi Padawan and even an appearance by Emperor “The Senate” Palpatine.
