2K games has released the first official gameplay video of Bioshock 2. Our immediate first impression was that the look and feel of the game closely resembles the original Bioshock, which is not surprising not necessarily a bad thing.
Based on the short video, Bioshock 2 will return with its dark, creepy atmosphere, complete with splicers scurrying up walls, dank, echoing corridors and groaning metallic sound effects creaking through the world of rapture.
The video also gives a first look at the player’s new guise, big daddy drill and all. Drops of water gather on the visor of the player’s big daddy helmet, and we are given a look at how players will be able to use the infamous Big Daddy-Drill charge.
After watching the video, we are more excited about Bioshock 2 than ever.
