During E3 2012 Nintendo unveiled their next Mario Bros game for the upcoming Nintendo Wii U console.
New Super Mario Bros. U is a new yet extremely familiar 2D side scrolling Mario game for Nintendo’s upcoming Wii U home console. For the first time players are able to add their Mii’s into Mario’s world which promises to contain various new powerups and items.
Like New Super Mario Bros. Wii, the game can be played with friends and features a new Boost Mode that allows a player to lend Mario and the gang a hand using the WiiU GamePad.
With no specific Wii U launch dates we’re keeping the pin in the previously announced window of in time for the 2012 holiday shopping season.
