A host of new screenshot’s for Capcom’s Kinect-integrated mech game, Steel Battalion: Heavy Armor, have hit the online battleground.

The screens give a good glimpse of the game’s core features, which throw the player into the cockpit of a futuristic war machine. Players have to navigate their way around the interior of the VR’s – arming weapons, controlling the movements and engaging with the enemy all through the use of motion controls.

Set in 2082, Steel Battalion Heavy Armor depicts a world devoid of computers, where war is waged with rudimentary weapons as new superpowers struggle for dominance. In this low-tech era there is one weapon class that will determine the course of the war – the Vertical Tank. Players take on the role of VT pilot Sgt. Powers as the battle to regain the United States from Chinese occupation begins.
