To celebrate the release of Starcraft II’s long-awaited expansion, Heart of the Swarm, the creative team over at Carbot Animations have put together an amazing video which recreates the HoTS intro in pure cartoon glory.
The hand-drawn style of the video shows the Zerg’s attack on the Terran, and while it may not be as cinematic and epic as the original, it trumps it hands-down for cute-factor, thanks to the hilarious derp-faced aliens.
The Zerg do showcase their crushing and mutilating powers, however, seeing a zergling overpower a marine with an onslaught of licks makes us sympathise with the little guys.
