French company Enodo has put together a showreel using Crytek’s CryEngine 3 that highlights some gorgeous scenery and beautiful real-time renderings.
Enodo is a company that was founded by two architects, which utilises gaming technologies in order to facilitate communication with clients, such as car manufacturers and architecture firms.
The showreel incorporates fully interactive 3D models and environments as a demo for an industrial proposal.
The video shows exterior and interior environments, along with human and animal characters, all in Crytek’s fantastic engine, which specialises in large near-photo-realistic settings, along with an advanced modular AI system.
CryEngine 3 is the fastest high-end renderer in the world for PC, Xbox 360 and PS3 (claims Crytek), however, the engine is “next-gen ready”, which will see it carried over into the future.
While it’s a showreel for the company, it does give an indication of what is capable in future gaming experiences.
