Ubisoft has given us a glimpse at the multiplayer action that Watch Dogs has to offer, and it looks like its delivering the cat-and-mouse game that we’ve really been waiting for.

The video shows Assassin’s Creed combined with Dark Souls-esque multiplayer, which puts multiple hackers against one another in the open-world of Chicago.

If you are free-roaming and connected to the Internet (multiplayer isn’t available during main and side missions), other hackers can join your game. These hackers will look like Aiden Pierce to themselves, but will appear as a normal civilian through your eyes.

The hackers who infiltrate your game can hack your phone or attempt to kill you, so you’ll need to be vigilant.

You can watch for any suspicious activity, use a profiling and tracking app to find out where and who the hacker is, and then chase them down and kill them before they install a virus onto your device.
