Ubisoft has released a new trailer for Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, showing off the new technologies that come with the arrival of next-gen.

The video details the new water physics system, the dynamic weather mechanics, and the volumetric lighting and particle effects that create a more immersive atmosphere for the game.

The video also highlights the new boarding system when two ships meet side-by-side.

The next AC game will arrive on 1 November 2013 on current-gen consoles, with plans to hit next-gen consoles at a later stage.
