YouTuber Many a True Nerd has adapted Fallout: New Vegas into a fully interactive novel.
Entitled Fallout: New Vegas – Choose Your Own Apocalypse, players progress through the game’s story by clicking through annotated choices in 30-second long vignettes. The series will then play out the consequences of your decisions before moving on to another set of choices.
The interactive story is quite complex too, with multiple possible endings and victory conditions.
Upon completing the adventure, you are prompted to start from the beginning – encouraging you try multiple playthroughs and find different ways through the game.
Fallout: New Vegas – Choose Your Own Apocalypse is best played on a computer, as mobile devices may not embed the annotated choices within the video.
