Dark Tower movie begins filming in Cape Town

The movie based on Stephen King’s The Dark Tower has begun filming in Cape Town, confirms Channel24.

This follows confirmation by actress Katheryn Winnick who posted images of her trailer on Instagram.

It is not known what role Winnick will play in the movie (although fans of the books may guess quite easily), but the two most important characters have been confirmed.

Idris Elba has been cast to play The Gunslinger while Matthew McConaughey will be playing the villainous Man in Black.
