The most badass vehicles in video games

Star Wars: Battlefront

Video games boast awesome weapons and crazy worlds, but perhaps the most interesting creations in gaming are the vehicles which players can control.

The sci-fi and fantasy worlds of many video games allow for crazy creations, including traditional vehicles with a mounted arsenal of heavy weapons.

Check out some of the most badass vehicles in video games below:

X-Wing – Star Wars

The X-Wing is possibly the most iconic star fighter ever created, and has been featured in almost every Star Wars video game ever made.

It’s unique and iconic design coupled with its speed and maneuverability make it one of the most badass vehicles of all time.

Normandy SR-2 – Mass Effect

The Normandy SR2 is the bigger, badder version of the original Normandy corvette-class cruiser.

With its highly-trained crew, superior speed and heavy armament, the Normandy SR2 is an iconic ship and a symbol of the Mass Effect series.

Slicecycle – Dead Rising 2

Dead Rising is known for its creative zombie-killing equipment, but the Slicecycle takes it to a whole new level.

Featuring twin chainsaw blades mounted on the handlebars, the bike can mow through zombies without breaking a sweat.

G-6155 Interceptor – Spy Hunter

The G-6155 Interceptor from Spy Hunter is the ultimate spy car, with a vast array of weaponry and its own Knight Rider-esque artificial intelligence.

Equipped with everything from miniguns to rocket launchers, the Interceptor is one of the most badass cars around, with the looks to match.

Leonardo Da Vinci’s Flying Machine – Assassin’s Creed

While not the most advanced of vehicles, Leonardo da Vinci’s flying machine from Assassin’s Creed 2 allows you to take to the skies in a time far before the invention of flight.

This is even more badass when you consider that da Vinci actually designed a flying machine years before the first successful human flight.

TIE Fighter – Star Wars

Yet another badass vehicle from the Star Wars universe, the TIE fighter is the imperial counterpart to the Rebel’s X-Wing fighter, and has similar flight capabilities.

Warthog – Halo

Perhaps the most iconic vehicle in any video game, the Warthog allowed gamers to share a vehicle in multiplayer deathmatch gameplay and experience physics-based ATV driving.

The Warthog can be equipped with a number of mounted weapons and has remained an iconic vehicle in the Halo franchise.
