Best games you can play this week – Bandicoots and bullets

26 June 2017

June is heading to its fateful end, but before we say goodbye to the halfway-mark month, there are a few more releases it has to give this week.

Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy

30 June 2017 (PS4)

Fans have been demanding it for quite some time, and finally Sony has listened. Everyone’s favourite bandicoot is making his return with the Crash Bandicoot: N. Sane Trilogy this week, which is a collection of high-definition remasters of the first three Crash Bandicoot games (Crash Bandicoot, Cortex Strikes Back, and Warped).

The trilogy adds new features across all three games , including unified checkpoints, pause menus, and save systems, including both manual and automatic saving, and time trials, which were first introduced in Warped. It also features high-definition 4K resolution and remastered audio.

Previously only available with Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare special editions, Modern Warfare Remastered features the same story campaign and 16 multiplayer maps as the 2007 original, but with updated visuals in the form of new models, textures, and effects.

Seems like Activision is charging for multiplayer maps that were once free in the original etc. Even on special, the price is R805 with DLC included, I’m going to give this one a miss.
