Top 5 mobile games to play in June 2022

mobile gaming

Mobile gaming is the fastest-growing industry in gaming and accounts for just over 50% of the gaming industry’s revenue.

Despite this, many notable mobile titles go unnoticed, and this in part is due to the sheer number of games being released on the mobile platform, which makes it difficult to work out which ones are worth playing.

To help, MyGaming has put together a list of the best mobile games to play in June 2022. This list includes both free-to-play and paid titles on Android and iOS.

The top five mobile games to play in June are listed below.

Apex Legends Mobile — Free

Play the mobile adaption of the classic battle royale title Apex Legends, which has become one of the most popular titles in its genre on PC and console.

However, the mobile game will feature exclusive content to ensure that it isn’t a carbon copy of the desktop and console versions, and offers fine-tuned touchscreen optimisations to give players the best mobile experience.

Currently, players have access to ten Legends, including Bloodhound, Wraith, Octane, Caustic, and Lifeline.

Players can choose Battle Royale, Ranked Battle Royale, Mini Battle Royale, Team Deathmatch, and 3v3 Arenas on either World’s Edge or King’s Canyon.

The game comes with a single-player mode or a multiplayer mode where you can play with up to three other online friends.

The Aeos Island emits mysterious energy that makes Pokémon grow stronger and provides them with enhanced abilities.

Before a battle, players must choose one Pokémon, and this is an important choice, as each has its own strengths and weaknesses to suit different playstyles.

As the battle progresses, Pokémon will get stronger and learn a variety of new moves, while some may even temporarily transform.

Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds — Free

Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds is an MMORPG that was developed using Unreal Engine 4 by Netmarble and published by Level-5.

Players will enter a dream world where they must team up with other companions to fight a deadly foe that threatens their very reality.

The game offers a vast open-world to explore, filled with several kingdoms and characters which you can discover as a solo or with friends.

Both the kingdoms and characters are customisable, so you and your friends can create or join the perfect kingdom in which you will have to protect against a variety of fantastical creatures.

Grid Autosport — R169.99

Grid Autosport is a classic racing game developed by Codemasters.

This title offers gamers a mobile pro-racer experience with a mix of simulation and arcade handling using touch and title controls.

The game also features scalable difficulty — from super-easy to ultra-realistic.

While it is a paid title, if you enjoy racing then this game is well worth its price as it offers players new cars and tracks with every update for free once they’ve bought the game.
