South African retailers have a range of technologies on special this week, with everything from cameras to gaming consoles available at discounted prices.

Makro, Game, Dion Wired and Incredible Connection feature in this week’s roundup, with low prices relative to other retailers making the following stand-out deals:

This week Makro has an Xbox 360 250GB bundle including games on special R2,599.00.

The Bundle includes the 250GB console, one wireless controller and two Xbox 360 games, Battlefield 3 and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, as well as a 1 year guarantee.

PC and PS3 games clearance (Incredible Connection)

Incredible Connection is having a games clearance sale at all of their stores, with a range of PlayStation 3 and PC games selling for R99.95 each.

PlayStations titles on special include Assassins Creed Revelations and Battlefield 3 among others, while PC gamers can pick up Homefront, Dead Space 2, Warhammer 40K: Space Marine and others.

LG 23-inch 3D and LG 23-inch IPS monitors (Dion Wired)

Dion wired have two LG 23-inch computer monitors on special this week – the D2342P and IPS235V, for R2,000 each.

The D2342P features a Full HD resolution, LED backlighting and 3D capabilities. The monitor includes a pair of LG 3D glasses, and is still one of the cheapest 3D capable 23-inch monitors currently available in South Africa.

The IPS235V meanwhile features a Full HD resolution, 5ms response time, and an IPS display panel.

Canon 600D photography bundle (Dion Wired)

Dion Wired have a Canon 600D introduction bundle on sale for R10,000, aimed at consumers who want to get into DSLR photography.

The bundle includes the Canon 600D DSLR camera body, as well as 18 – 55mm “kit” lens. Also included is the 50mm F1.8 fixed focal length lens and the 55 – 250mm zoom lens.
