September is now in full-swing and we’re finally getting into the heat of the September line-up of games.
This week, gamers get a chance to hop into their armored vehicles and conquer some new territory in the highly anticipated Armored Kill DLC for Battlefield 3. Unfortunately, only Battlefield Premium members get the nod this week; those planning to buy the DLC separately will have to wait a little longer before they get a taste of the vehicular chaos.
Tekken makes its long-awaited return with a sequel to one of the PS2’s launch-titles.
Battlefield 3: Armored Kill (Premium members) – 11 September (PC, 360)
The Armored Kill expansion features significantly larger maps to cater for the vehicular-focused combat, and also looks to feature some refreshing locales, including the biggest map in Battlefield history.
Armored Kill also adds new vehicles, vehicle unlocks, and a brand new game mode known as Tank Superiority.
The all-out-vehicle-kill-a-thon is already available for PS3 Premium members, and hits Xbox 360 and PC this week.
For those non-premium members, the general release on PlayStation 3 is 18 September, and 25 September for Xbox 360 and PC.
Tekken Tag Tournament 2 – 14 September 2012
Even though it’s been out in Japanese arcades for nearly a year now, the highly-anticipated sequel to Tekken Tag Tournament is finally hitting consoles this week. Tekken Tag Tournament 2 features the classic arcade gameplay, with unique content and features for the first time.
It delivers new and returning characters in the largest roster ever, the most advanced attack mechanics, ultimate combo move sets and new battle modes. Tekken is back, and definitely not pulling any punches.
