MyGaming readers show their stuff

22 October 2012

Every true gamer knows that gaming is mostly about playing games achievements teabagging having the biggest, best, most impressive gaming setup ever. Who needs games, anyway? The whole point is making everybody else feel jealous that you’ve got one of those totally obscure, ultra limited edition peripherals that only works in one game that was never released outside of that one Japanese prefecture. Or maybe just a nice keyboard with neon back-lighting.

We asked MyGaming forum readers to show us their gear:

Wyvern

It’s just like being in Rapture. Kind of.

Wlad

Wlad’s entire PC is powered by a mug of double-shot mocha java.

And his PS3 is hooked up to Hyperion Corporation.

Wenzdayz

Wenzdayz goes authentically old school with this CRT monitor replica.

ViperGTI

The antique keyboard invests ViperGTI’s state-of-the-art triple-monitor setup with a trendy steampunk aesthetic.

Uberutang

Uberutang and his lady keep things co-op cozy with matched his-and-hers villain chairs.

Tsar

It looks like a regular desktop, but it’s really a top-secret CIA substation. Maybe.

simon

Proof the gaming rigs are not for games – there’s nowhere to move that mouse.

Saint Dee

It’s basically a night club in a perspex case.

Saint

We’ve found the one PC gamer looking forward to Black Ops II.

okuhle94

For the gamer on the go, it’s a whole computer crammed into a convenient, portable hard shell casing with a built-in keyboard. Technology!

Murph

Not pictured: the heap of miscellaneous junk that was on this desk approximately two minutes previously.

Maplassie

Probably not Maplassie’s real PC.

Grimspoon

Do you ever get the feeling somebody’s watching everything you do?

Glordit

The wall revolves into a subterranean volcano lair. The switch is disguised as the inconspicuous vintage fax machine on the right.

Dohc-WP

Dohc-WP hides his Mac in the dark.

DCWarhound

Cable management is for the WEAK.

Cronus086

Gordon’s headphones are falling off. That’s how the whole Black Mesa thing started, you know.

Avatar

AAAND IT WAS AAAAALL YEEEELLOOOOW. Now it’s stuck in your head too.
