Last night, mission command sent me target coordinates at MWEB’s HQ in Parow, Cape Town, with intel from enemy radio chatter that a strike force of 30 operatives would be in the building for a secret operation designated “Call of Duty: Black Ops II launch event”. My orders were straightforward – infiltrate the premises, obtain surveillance assets, and test edible supplies for possible contamination.
Disguised as a civilian journalist, I made my way through the security blockade without significant incident, and proceeded to recon the location. For reasons that are as yet undetermined, it seemed that the people had assembled here under the pretence of some sort of “video game” event, and not a covert black ops assignment as previously suspected. NOTE: This may, in fact, have been subterfuge for something much more sinister.
After taking up a conveniently inconspicuous position in the corner of what appeared to be the central command station, I commenced my surveillance. Sixteen big-screen monitors were broadcasting live footage from a series of active engagements at an undisclosed location outside the premises.

Assigned operatives maintained a close vigilance according to a vaguely defined shift rotation that appeared to correspond with the number of targets killed remotely.
Performance bonuses in the form of packaged material goods were also periodically distributed among the operatives, as well as incentivising extras, including carbonated liquids and boxes containing cylindrical dough-based assets topped with super-heated lactic bacterias and a variety of proteins that, on oral inspection, were safe for human consumption.
