Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 is a 7-inch tablet that features Android 4.0 “Ice Cream Sandwich” on a 1GHz dual-core TI OMAP processor, and sports a 3MP rear camera and VGA front-facing camera for video calls.
Galaxy Tabs use the Google Play store, and therefore have access to some great games, including GTA III, Minecraft: Pocket Edition and Angry Birds Space.
iPad Mini
The baby brother of the iPad 4 features a 7.9-inch display, a dual-core A5 processor and a 5-megapixel iSight camera on the rear capable of 1080p recording. The device also supports LTE, and is unsurprisingly cheaper than the larger 9.7-inch iPad.
The iPad Mini has access to the iTunes game store, which is packed full of paid and free games. Some of the popular titles include Cut the Rope, Fruit Ninja and Plants vs. Zombies.
Nexus 7
The Google Nexus 7 comes in two flavours – 3G and Wi-Fi only versions. The Asus-built Nexus 7 features a 7-inch display, an Nvidia Tegra 3 quad-core chip, 1 GB of RAM, and 16GB or 32GB of internal storage.
Like the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2, the Nexus 7 also uses the Google Play store for apps and games, with some of the most popular games being Rayman Jungle Run, Need for Speed: Most Wanted and Where’s My Water?
