Telkom Internet will launch 20Mbps and 40Mbps VDSL broadband products on 4 March 2013, offering both capped and uncapped products.
As with traditional ADSL services, consumers will have to rent a voice line from Telkom, as well as pay a fee to Telkom for the DSL access portion of the service.
Telkom has announced their pricing on uncapped VDSL bundle products, which includes the DSL access portion of the service. MWEB has also announced their consumer uncapped pricing.
We’ve compared the two pricing options to see which of the two currently offers the best deal on consumer-level uncapped VDSL products, including voice line and DSL access costs.

These high speed products will, for now, be launched in selected areas. The initial rollout will offer these services in Benmore Gardens, Fourways and Waterkloof in Gauteng; Durban North in KwaZulu-Natal; and Durbanville in the Western Cape.
