A new instalment into the highly-acclaimed SimCity series has been a long time coming, and PC gamers preparing to get their building and management fix have a few options when considering pre-ordering.
MyGaming checked local retailers’ listings to see what was on offer, and there are 3 SimCity editions available.
The Standard Edition – features the vanilla-flavoured game.
The Collector’s Edition – includes a collectible Steelbook case, which features a lenticular 3D artwork on the cover sleeve.
Limited Edition – features the SimCity Heroes and Villains pre-order incentive, which includes new characters, crime waves, a Super Hero HQ and an Evil Villain Lair.

There is also the Digital Deluxe Edition, which can be bought through Origin, and is priced at (R 520.15). The SimCity Digital Deluxe Edition includes the Heroes and Villains set, the French City Set, the German City Set and the British City Set.
