games you can play this week

This week, Hitler is up to his usual tricks again, but there’s nothing that a well-placed bullet to the head can’t fix.

Also, a classic returns to PCs, as Age of Empires 2: HD Edition hits back with some much-needed nostalgia.

Sniper Elite: Nazi Zombie Army

If you’re not sure which bad guys you love more – zombies or Nazis – Rebellion is introducing Sniper Elite: Nazi Zombie Army to eager headshotters this week.

The standalone expansion takes the tried and tested formula from previous Sniper Elite games and pits you against a horde of the fascist undead in an attempt it make it out alive.

Featuring a co-op campaign for 1 to 4 players, Sniper Elite: Nazi Zombie Army will bring a horrifying new campaign to the franchise.

Battle through a blood-drenched Berlin with up to 3 other friends as you try to survive the occult powers and undead super soldiers unleashed by Hitler in the final days of World War II.

Only a Sniper Elite with nerves of steel and a steady aim stands a chance against Hitler’s Nazi Zombie Army.

Age of Empires 2: HD Edition

A blast from the past is what is in store this week, as Age of Empires 2: HD Edition catapults onto PC this week.

The game is remastered for 1080p+ displays, and boasts an “enhanced visual engine” for better textures on terrain, water, and fire, as well as new-fangled lighting effects.

Age of Empires 2 HD will contain all the campaigns and content from the original AoEII: Age of Kings base game and its The Conquerers expansion.

Steam Workshop support will be integrated, meaning that we can expect tons of cool mods in the spirit of the original Age of Empires 2 mod scene.

Other Steam features include achievements, leaderboards, matchmaking and cloud saves.
