Gaming specials this weekend

7 June 2013

The weekend of Father’s Day is here, and if you’re looking for some bonding time with Dad, or feel you deserve your own little gift as the man of the house, then there are a number of gaming specials on offer to keep you busy.

PS3 console, game and Blu-ray bundle (game) – R2990

For the kids (or the young at heart), there is a PS3 bundle from Game that should serve your needs.

The bundle includes a 12GB Super Slim PS3 console, one controller, Skylanders Giants figurines (3), three games (Skylanders Giants, Ben 10: Omniverse and Sonic and Sega All Stars Racing: Transformed), and one Blu-ray (Lion King 3).

The special is valid until

3-game game bundle (Takealot) – R99

Takealot has three PC games on special, all for R99.

The three games included are Medal of Honor, Dead Space and Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince. While Harry Potter may not tickle everyone’s wand, if you haven’t played the original Dead Space and feel like some military FPS action with Medal of Honor, then it’s not a bad option for R99.

The special is valid while stocks last.

Monster Hunter 3: Ultimate (Kalahari) – R422.95

Wii U owners don’t have too much to smile about at the moment, but Kalahari has cut the price on Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate, which should give you enough gameplay time for the next 100 or so hours.

The game is now priced at R422.95 (down from R599.95), and is available while stocks last.
