This week’s digital download deals include a number of interesting games that should keep you busy throughout the weekend.
Steam’s Summer Sale is expected to launch on 11 July 2013, but before the big specials roll in, there are already some deals on offer.
The Midweek Madness special sees Half-Life 2 being dropped 75% and priced at $2.49.
Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit has also seen a drastic discount and is now only $5.99.
There are some other pre-order specials that can be viewed on Steam.
GOG has 3 games on sale this week, including the action RPG Anodyne ($3.99), a pre-order special for the dragon-flying RTS hybrid Divinity: Dragon Commander ($39.99), and the sci-fi space shooter Ring Runner: Flight of the Sages for $9.99.
Indie Royale has the Debut 3 bundle on offer this week, which includes 5 up-and-coming indie games for you to check out.
The bundle features Stained, Tropical Heat Jet Ski Racing, LogiGun, Tales of Maj’Eyal and Crayon Chronicles.
The whole bundle’s current minimum price is $4.57 (at the time of writing).
GamersGate is in the throes of Summer Sale.
On special is Dark Messiah (R25), Sine Mora (R25) and even the complete Assassin’s Creed Collection (AC1, AC2, AC: Brotherhood Deluxe Edition, AC: Revelations Gold Edition, AC 3 Deluxe Edition and the AC3 eGuide) for R907.
The colossal-sized Telltale Games pack is also on special for R376, and features the whole Back to the Future and Sam and Max episodic series, among others.
Humble Indie has the Humble Indie Weekly special this week, and this edition is the Two Tribes bundle.
The Two Tribes bundle includes Toki Tori and Edge (pay-what-you-want) with Rush and a Toki Tori 2 discount thrown in if you pay more than the average (currently at $2.47).
PS Plus members can get a discount on some PS2 games which are on sale through the PS Store.
Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter, God Hand, Okami HD, Metal Gear Solid 2 HD – Sons of Liberty and Metal Gear Solid 3 HD – Snake Eater are some of the games on special, among others.

Xbox Live is getting its annual Summer of Arcade games launch underway, and this season gamers are getting a varied taste of action and nostalgia.
The Summer of Arcade includes the release of Brothers: a Tale of two Sons, Charlie Murder, Flashback and the always-favourite shelled heroes in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows.

Amazon’s Digital Games Summer Sale is still running this week, offering PC gamers something to taunt their wallets.
The sale runs till 14 July, and there’s everything from big-name franchises to the smaller titles.
Some of the standout deals include Assassin’s Creed III for $13.31, FIFA 13 for $9.99, and Guild Wars 2 for $33.49.
