The world of video gaming is filled with captivating characters and great narrative from which a number of memorable quotes have arisen. Often the mere reciting of the quote is enough to bring back a flood of good gaming memories. Of course, there are some pretty infamous quotes too, along the lines of badly translated sentences, or just downright awful dialogue. MyGaming has compiled a list of some of our favourite gaming quotations (in no particular order) for your reading pleasure.

35. Dishonourable mention goes to this gaming related quote from John Romero, whom was attempting to market his then new game, Daikatana, with the following provocative advertisement:
It certainly garnered a lot of pre-release attention, but unfortunately for Romero, the game went down in history as a memorable flop – but that’s another story.
