Are you a virgin? MyGaming survey results

27 March 2014

The MyGaming Lifestyle Survey 2014 has wrapped up, we’ve crunched the numbers, and now we will begin to tease out the results over the next week.

Firstly, we have the demographics that paint a picture of the MyGaming readers and survey participants.

A note on the survey sample: with a sample size of 1,136 we can target a statistical confidence level of 99%, with a confidence interval of 3.83 on a 50% dichotomous response result.

Of course it is necessary to bear in mind the audience, which will comprise largely of MyGaming and MyBroadband readers, and nature of the survey – therefore tech-savvy individuals with access to the Internet will make up our respondents.

Since this is a broad descriptor of the nature of a modern online gamer, we think it’s fair to say this survey represents the high-end segment of the South African gaming market.
