Puff or pass? What SA gamers smoke

Thanks to the MyGaming Lifestyle Survey results, we can get some insight into the smoking habits of South African gamers.

Previously we unpacked the demographics of the MyGaming survey participants, painting a broad picture of the high-end gaming market in South Africa. The demographics results can be read here along with notes on statistical accuracy.

Do gamers smoke?

From the sample size of 1,136 survey participants, 25.35% said they smoke.

Of the smokers, we asked which smoking products they consume, and how much they spend on smoking each month. The results are summarised below. Note that these questions were multiple choice.
